A Brief History
The WELL Learning Library originated through conversations about the
, the leading tool for advancing health and well-being in buildings globally.
When the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) released their v2 Pilot and Portfolio programs of the Standard, it became apparent that new learning strategies would need to be introduced into the marketplace that provided people with access to education on how the built environment impacts their health and well-being each and every day. We also recognized that data analytics would be instrumental to measuring the incremental improvements to people's health and well-being over time.
The outcome of these conversations became the WELL Learning Library whose mission is to expand the educational opportunities, increase awareness, and cause behavioral change with how people relate to their health and wellness. Since we spend 90% of our time indoors, the WELL Learning Library brings a unique focus on how our environments, and the buildings we occupy, impact our health and well-being.
